Great photo of a beautiful flower. Congratulations.
Thanks!
Very beautiful.
K
Thank you, Karen. 🙂 I thought it was a lovely early spring sight.
Christopher Morley was right!
I thought so, too, Lynn. 😉
What always fascinates me is that everyone’s idea of beauty is so unique.
What a gorgeous macro, Meredith!
There’s something for everyone on this glorious planet. 🙂
Glad you liked the closeup, Talon!
Dear Meredith, Of course the hellebore is lovely – and an excellent photograph. Equally, I like the new layout/design of your weblog. You have obviously been working hard!
Oh, Edith, this isn’t the new one yet! But I hope you will like the final form. 🙂
such a beautiful color
I like it, too, although it’s so dark it almost didn’t show up on a first glance at the landscape.
Beautiful photo, and nice quote to go with it!
Thanks, Kathy!
That rich burgundy is just beautiful Meredith!
I think that, as result of your post from a couple of days back, I am now forever destined to see a shy beauty in a hellebore!
Heidi, they do seem to be the shy ones of the early spring landscape, hanging their delicate heads, hugging the understory layer of the forest. 🙂
Lovely shot and very true words as well.
Muhammad, I do think the words ring true. Thanks for the compliment!
Wow, Meredith, what a great shot!
Your blog is looking fabulous, I am afraid to change anything on mine, I have heard horror stories about bloggers losing everything!
Deborah
Thanks so much, Deborah. I actually haven’t changed anything here; this is just the regular layout (it alters itself to conform to the photograph, very ingenious). But I think I’m about ready to launch the new version. Hope so, anyway!
Oh what a beauty!
Anna, she is; isn’t she? 🙂
Hi Meredith, I’m right there with you on the fever pitch. It seems the closer we get to spring the harder it is to contain our glee and anticipation. Won’t be long yet. Bummer on the ground being frozen. That is mighty cold!!
Tina, I can hardly contain my zeal these last few days. It’s been down in the 20s at night here, which is really unusual. I don’t have much experience with predicting which temps will cause the ground to become unyielding, and it was a bit of a shock!
